Read. Run. Repeat.

Join us to Read. Run. Repeat! It’s the inaugural event of what we hope will become an annual tradition, held on Sunday, October 20 from 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Proceeds will benefit FOLMC in support of Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL).

This 5K/10K event takes place in Wheaton Regional Park (2000 Shorefield Rd, Silver Spring), which is not far from the Wheaton Library and Community Recreation Center. Look for the carousel and the miniature trains, which are a few steps from the race’s starting line.

Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate—there’s free parking and we’ll have water stations set up along the course.

The goal of this event is to give our community a healthy way to come together, celebrate libraries—and have fun! Every finisher is awarded a medal, with additional prizes going to top performers in each age group.
