2024 Friends of the Library Montgomery County 5k & 10k

Points count towards our Year-Long 5k, 10k, & Back of the Pack Series.  Points will also count towards our Fall Series.

Please note that Bishop’s Events promo/discount codes cannot be used to register for this event.

Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to join us for this fun race to benefit Friends of the Library, Montgomery County!

Charity Information

Race benefits Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.  Friends of the Library, Montgomery County (FOLMC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) and promotes lifelong learning in Montgomery County, MD. FOLMC provides supplemental funding, programs, and materials and equipment to MCPL to augment public funding. The organization also operates two used bookstores in Rockville and Wheaton, MD.

Race Start Times

10k – 8:45am

5k – 9am

Registration Fees

5k – $30, until Sept 30 ($35)

10k – $45, until Sept 30 ($50)

***Price will increase on race morning by $5 for each distance

T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before Oct 9.  We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.
