National Capital 20 Miler

The National Capital 20 Miler is Washington, DC’s premier fall marathon tune-up race. Taking place on the C&O Towpath, the 20 Miler offers runners a flat, fast out-and-back course with water and nutrition support at regular intervals.

Runners can also elect to participate in the Janet Braunstein 5 Miler, which begins twenty minutes after the start of the 20 Miler.

Race registration will open in May 2025, with rates for DC Road Runners members and non-members alike.
