Kids on the Run

Kids on The Run and Kids Marathon are non-competitive running events for ages 17 and younger. Participants can choose from four distances based on their age and ability: a Toddler Trot, Half-Mile, One-Mile, and 2K.

All events take place on the paved trails of Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg. Participants do not run on roads. There is a “rabbit” runner who will lead the participants in each event. There is also a “sweeper” who follows behind, ensuring that everyone makes it back to the finish line. There are multiple opportunities to see and cheer for the youth runners!

Registration is $10 plus fees for each distance.
