Nearly 18,000 turn out for Cherry Blossom Ten Miler

As Washington-area residents have learned this year, if you don’t like the weather, wait a while.

[button-red url=”http://www.runwashington.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/CB-2014.pdf” target=”_self” position=”left”] Results [/button-red]A week after sleet, hail and snow pelted anyone who went outside, runners at the Cherry Blossom Ten Mile enjoyed nearly-perfect conditions. The only complaint many had was with the late-looming cherry trees. But that didn’t stop more than 17,747 10-mile runners. The 5k drew 2,143.

Race pacing for fun and fitness

A break from racing one of my favorite events gave me a chance to help other runners reach their time goals.

Hero Dogs 5K9

Hero Dogs Inc will host its 5th Annual 5K9 race at the Congressional Cemetery on Saturday, May 17th, beginning at 8 am. There will also be a 1K Fun Run. The 1K Fun Run will start at 8 am sharp

Mid Atlantic Corporate Relays

Team relays, individual races and field events with unique age and gender requirements. Events are structured for men and women of all ages.

Some events are gender/age graded. Individual track distances range from 100m to 3000m.
