The owners of Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg announced today that they have opened the doors to their new location.
Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg is now in its new location at 255 Kentlands Boulevard in the Giant shopping center by GNC and Panera, remaining in the Kentlands neighborhood in Gaithersburg. “We love the Kentlands,” says owner Robyn Gault. “Our initial plan when we first opened was to be part of a community and the Kentlands was exactly what we were looking for. This is why we’re staying in the Kentlands.”
The new location, in a larger space, allows for more products and services for the running community. In addition to offering the best in running shoes, apparel, and accessories, there are now more products related to trail running and yoga. There is a large selection of children’s fitness apparel and shoes. Runners will also find a wide selection of products related to minimalist running. And, as triathlon season starts, there will be more triathlon-specific apparel and products that are hard to find elsewhere. There is a library of informative and inspirational books for customers to thumb through while shopping. The larger space will also allow for more events and educational seminars. In the next month, customers will be able to attend these FREE events: a Montgomery County Road Runners Member Appreciation Night (February 28), a Stride Clinic (March 1), a Garmin product information seminar (March 8), a 5-week Yoga for Runners program (every Tuesday beginning March 16), and much more. And expect to see an increase in the number of the great running programs for which Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg has become famous! The first of five No Boundaries Beginning 5K programs begins March 22.
